Marcy Jellison: voice trainer and executive presentation skills coach, brings years of experience as a performer with a diverse arts background to her vocal teaching studio. She avidly pursues her own training and teaching techniques which continue to evolve.

Favorably reviewed in the New York Times as an “outstanding, sweet voiced soprano”, Ms Jellison has performed leading roles in works by Mozart, Beethoven and Donizetti. She has performed with Opera Delaware, Cincinnati Playhouse, the Arena Stage in Washington D.C., and the 92nd St. Y in New York City. She has worked in collaboration with playwrights and composers at New Dramatists and the New Music Theater Ensemble in Minnesota. She has performed as an actor, dancer and singer in venues both large and intimate.

Her work with private students is a result of her love and deep commitment to the expressive arts. She is a published poet.

She holds a BFA in acting from Boston University, and has continued her studies through post graduate work at Mannes College, as well as years of training in voice and various movement disciplines including bio-energetics, dance, yoga, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, Chi Qong, and meditation techniques. She has been an adjunct faculty voice teacher for CUNY, assisted Wesley Balk with acting/singing workshops at Omega Institute, led her own workshop “Performing Power” in NY, and taught voice for the Gene Frankel Theater School.
